Can I sell MemberPress memberships if my membership site and online shop are on a different websites?

If your MemberPress membership site and WooCommerce online shop are on completely different websites then you will need to use the External Membership Sites Add-On which will be released soon.

What do we mean by “different websites”?

Different websites are simply to different WordPress installations. It can be:

  1. Two completely different domains, for example: myonlineshop.com & mymembershipsite.com
  2. Two sub-domains: shop.mydomain.com & membership.mydomain.com
  3. Two directories: mydomain.com/shop & mydomain.com/membership
